I don't suppose anyone will have much reason to contact me until school starts back up again. Nevertheless, should you desire to reach me, I will be available most easily -- perhaps solely -- by the Neopolis Academy network, from about three hours from now ("now" being, approximately 4:23 a.m., Tuesday, September 8) until the end of the month.

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding my taking temporary leave of the city, times like these are the ones in which I am reminded of exactly how much I benefit from living in Neopolis and having access to Neopolitan technology.

Thanks, I suppose, and I'll be flying home from London as well, after all this sea business is over and done with. To make a long story -- not short, but shorter, even with Neopolitan technology, I've had to make a few edits and abbreviations to the course, and the Mariner couldn't get me a ship starting from England. If you'll look at the map, I'm starting going from California straight to the Galapagos, following the red path, backwards, around the tip of South America, and then switching over to the yellow at Salvador to make better use of the winds.

In other words, we may very well meet. I've tentatively got a ticket out of Heathrow booked for Sept. 25, although I may have to transfer, depending on whether I make it there in time. When's your flight?

Absolutely.

Although I would have liked having you along, I understand. It might be good for you to stay Stateside with Molly and Regina anyway, but I know whom I should call in case anything here ever malfunctions. If a zombie relapse occurs during my voyage, then I am mildly shit outta luck, for lack of a better term. Thanks for reminding me, though -- I'll remember to pack some broad-spectrum antibiotics, just in case. Bloody Mary wasn't my biggest medical concern, but you already knew that.

	It's the same one I was going to get before the ~~Mariner's~~ whole business with the albatross. I think he might be in the bargaining stage now -- the Mariner called up the house last night and said something about how he promised me a ship, and if I'm still up for it, I'll be at the shipyard at 7 tomorrow (this?) morning.
