015: to look back at that boy on his way to school
Although I never fully realize it while on vacation, the beginning of term is a beautiful time -- there's the process of easing oneself into one's new schedule, the thrill of starting new projects, the false promises made to one's self about homework that won't be put off until the last minute. Then, naturally, it must become routine.

For those of you that have classes in common with me, I expect you might have noticed by now that we are, in fact, attending the same lectures at the same time. Nevertheless, here is my complete schedule this trimester, for posterity:

Advanced Microbiology
Lab: Build-a-Gadget
Working Through It: Harnessing Radioactivity
Exploration, Escapology and Social Anthropology
World History
Personal Development

[Civil War Students]

Did you guys notice how the dining hall was serving both carrots and mashed potatoes during dinner this evening last night?
